David Atkinson, regional head of land and development for Willmott Dixon, said:

Station Quarter is a key gateway to the centre of our town and a vital link between the shopping centre and the main line station. It is therefore crucial that we get this phase right and I believe that Willmott Dixon are the best partner to help us deliver this”.

The project is the latest in a proud history of regeneration schemes for Willmott Dixon. In the summer of 2020, the business completed the £20m regeneration of Rochdale Riverside, creating 200,000 sq. ft of retail and leisure space to encourage inward investment to the town. Secondly in the Autumn of 2020, the business handed over the Llys Cadwyn development in Pontypridd to Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council, delivering an innovative business and leisure scheme to replace a derelict 1960’s shopping centre.
