Alexa joined Glancy Nicholls Architects in March 2015 was promoted to Associate in January 2016 and Associate Director in January 2019. She has over 15 years’ experience covering a range of sectors including Public, Education, Historic, and Residential Buildings. She has a familiarity and understanding of teaching environments which has led to the evolution and reinvention of learning spaces and mechanisms across secondary, further education and higher education projects.
Her interest and experience in historic buildings and conservation has her considerable experience in involvement in the redevelopment and restoration of a number of notable historic and listed buildings, including works to a Grade I listed Christopher Wren building. Alexa has recently been working on valuable research alongside the University of Wolverhampton in the use and utilisation of HBIM for proactive heritage asset management, which was published in 2020 and is a visiting lecturer at the University of Wolverhampton.
