This April we are excited to be launching our Building Brum roundtable series “Construction Through Collaboration” with the support of our construction partners Careys, taking a unique look at how we efficiently build a more inclusive, Birmingham, making it renowned as a great place to work in the industry.

Exploring this through the lens of Careys three strategic goals; Great Place to Work, Operational Excellence and Partner of Choice and how these are lived and implemented across Birmingham’s construction projects by contractors, developers, architects, influencers and clients.

“Over the past decade Birmingham has witnessed a surge in development and investment, providing jobs, homes, improved public transport and public spaces that we need as a growing city. As a City we face a number of existing and emerging challenges that must be addressed as we look to the future.
The urgent need for action to tackle climate change is paramount, however, to become a truly global city we have to embrace head on inclusivity, diversity and culture to truly shape our city for future generations to come. If in 10 years’ time and our City still looks and feels the same then we will have failed – Success will only be achieved by shaping our City together.
