Our Future City Conversation
As part of the Our Future City Plan engagement, Birmingham City Council are hosting a range of webinars to discuss our vision for Central Birmingham in relation to current social, environmental and economical challenges.
City of Growth For All: Creating an equitable city - Tuesday 23rd March - 10am.

Looking ahead to 2040, we aim to become a #CityofGrowthForAll. Join us for an open discussion on how we can promote opportunities to provide multifunctional green infrastructure and renewable energy as an integral part of new and existing building designs. This webinar will also explore how we can ensure access to affordable housing, healthcare and jobs, how we can take a zero-carbon approach to development and how we can nurture Birmingham's culture to boost our economy.

Amahra is also an artist, creative producer and public speaker, viewing her work through the lenses of equity, service and community.
Colette McCann, Head of Housing Development at Birmingham City Council.
Colette has worked with us since 2019, heading our Housing Development and Head of Clearance, Land and Property teams.
Sue Manns, Director of Sue Manns Associates and Immediate Past President of the Royal Town Planning Institute.
Sue specialises in consultation and community engagement in development projects and was President of the Royal Town Planning Institute in 2020. She is passionate about good planning and the benefits that diverse and inclusive engagement can bring, and is also a Fellow of both the Royal Town Planning Institute and the Royal Society of Arts.
Andre Reid, Founding Director & Design Research Consultant at KIONDO.
Andre is Founding Director at KIONDO, a design research studio which grows relationships with organisations to embed citizens in: Co-Design, Design Research & Innovation, Participatory Place-making and Urban Regeneration.
Bob Ghosh, Architect specialising in and urban regeneration.
Bob is an Architect, urban regeneration specialist, property and land adviser and Chair of Eastside Projects in Digbeth.
