With its dramatic glazed reception, the HQ of Headlam Ltd was the perfect place to feature modern, marble-effect floor tiles from Solus’ Rawstone range.
Each individual tile in this particular range features a totally unique and random variation of intense veining in both dark and light shades. These sedimentary formations evoke the sense of authentic quarried marble stone.
Interior design consultancy Thuja Design chose various different format tiles from the Rawstone range and produced an interesting and inspirational floor laying pattern.
Large format tiles were used alongside thinner tiles and staggered in a brick bond style. This exciting design draws the eye, elongating and widening each room with a sense of space and openness.
In addition, Solus also supplied bespoke plinths fabricated from the Rawstone range that were fitted to all of the floor skirting’s in the main circulation area. These delicate skirting pieces feature a bullnosed edge, which can be achieved in-house with Solus’ advanced tile fabrication equipment.
