Knight Frank launches new contemporary development in Birmingham city centre
Global property consultancy Knight Frank has been appointed by property developer HBD as sales agent for SETL; a £33m residential scheme in Birmingham’s historic Jewellery Quarter.
Launching early next year, SETL will consist of 102 one- and two-bedroom apartments, along with a wide range of amenities for residents including a roof garden, fitness studio, and a communal lounge with a work-from-home area. On the ground floor, 2,350 sq. ft. commercial space will be available, attracting independent restaurants, leisure operators and other businesses.
SETL has been designed by local architect BPN to reflect the enduring history and exceptional period architecture of the Jewellery Quarter. The external façade will consist of a mix of brickwork and terracotta to tie into the commercial past of the location. The apartments and communal areas are carefully curated, spacious and contemporary with warm neutral and natural materials all finished to a very high standard.
Liam Smith, a Partner at Knight Frank and Head of Birmingham New Homes, said: “SETL is an exciting new development which will redefine modern city living in Birmingham. The development is a stellar example of reinverting an underused commercial site into an exemplary mixed-used scheme. We expect high buyer demand given the location of this outstanding neighbourhood and access to a wealth of amenities on the development's doorstep.’’
Simon Raiye, Director at HBD, said: “SETL is one of the city’s most highly anticipated residential schemes, offering high-quality apartments in an extremely sought after neighbourhood and alongside a host of amenities, including a roof garden and resident’s co-working lounge. It’s a scheme we’re very proud of and we’re pleased to have Knight Frank on board.”
Creative Retail Property Consultants have been appointed to market the commercial units.
